Compiling from Source:
$ mkdir -p $GOPATH/src/github.com/hashicorp && cd !$
$ git clone https://github.com/hashicorp/consul.git
$ cd consul
$ make tools
$ make dev

Consul is a distributed, highly available system.
Every node that provides services to Consul runs a Consul agent.
